KABUL — Mohammad Wali had been simply 12 yrs old whenever their widowed mom started organizing their wedding up to a 24-year-old girl from their town in Ghazni Province.
“I do not desire to be hitched,” Mohammad’s mom recalls her son telling her. “we would like to play soccer and cricket. I wish to head to college.”
